Dragon Fruit Sorbet--Perhaps Khaleesi's Frozen Treat of Choice

My mom recently harvested her first ever dragon fruit! She has been growing this plant in our backyard for ages and so seeing her fruits of labor (quite literally) put a smile on our faces.

See how proud we were! We even took a selfruit, if there's even such a term.

When we split the fruit, we feasted on its throbbing crimson hue and I knew from that moment that I need to expand and turn this super fruit into a yummier dessert treat. Thus, this blog post.

The Recipe

Dragon Fruit [1 whole fruit, peeled and frozen]
Banana [4-5, frozen]
Coconut Water [ a cup]
Condensed Milk [optional]

Directions
1. Freeze the dragon fruit and banana for at least 3 hours.
2. Blend the bananas first. Add coconut water to the banana mixture to ease the blending process until you achieve a creamy consistency similar to yoghurt.
3. Add the dragon fruit and blend away.
4. If you want to cut off on sugar intake, do not add evaporated milk from the mixture.
5. Enjoy.
